It is Giorgia and Davide who welcome you to Casa Pernice, a small hotel with just two rooms in Cavi Borgo, a fishing village very close to Sestri Levante. Here you wake up and fall asleep gazing at the crystal-clear sea of the Tigullio Gulf, a picture that you can also admire from the panoramic terraces, while having breakfast in the garden or reading in the shade of a centuries-old olive tree.

In our own small way, we always try to be waste-conscious. And we have adopted a formula that allows us to extend this philosophy also in the reception: at breakfast we avoid the buffet, preferring to give guests a choice of different dishes and fresh, high-quality products. For the same reason, we prepare dinner only for those who really want to stay, offering a targeted menu. In the rooms, as well as throughout the hotel, we have used natural paints, reclaimed furniture adapted to a contemporary design, and every product is environmentally friendly and sustainable.

The cuisine at Casa Pernice is based on simplicity, freshness and quality of ingredients. Different dishes, chosen by guests and served with a sea view, are offered at breakfast each day, while lunch and dinner are available on request, only for those who wish to stay and enjoy a tasting menu. If you wish, you can also request a picnic basket to take to the sea. Once a week, you can enjoy excellent pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven. Giorgia and Davide have a vegetable garden, their own citrus fruits and some ‘happy hens’, whose produce is used in the kitchen. |
