Our mission is to practise fully sustainable agriculture that respects biodiversity, animal welfare and the land. And we wish to share our nature-integrated lifestyle with our guests, with a simple process of awareness and sensitisation that concretely shows how much difference can be made through small daily attentions.
Land at the table
We use 0 km raw materials, relying on carefully selected local producers. We also make our own sauces and jams, using fruits and vegetables from our own land.
Sustainable farming
We raise Limousin beef cows with the utmost respect for the environment and the animal itself. We feed them with fodder produced by us, the calves take only their mother's milk and hay; in winter they rest in our stables, while during the summer they have 13 hectares of pasture at their disposal.
Clean Energy and Plastic Free
With the photovoltaic system we produced 47% of the energy used. We are also increasingly eliminating the use of plastic. For example, in the accommodation, there are only metal and glass materials, and the courtesy line is with refillable dispensers of natural products.
Outdoor Activity
We offer trekking and e-bike excursions along the paths of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, a Biosphere Reserve. For walk enthusiasts, we are on the historic Via Vandelli, which connected Modena and Sassuolo with Massa in Tuscany.
Conservative renovation
Our structure was built with the utmost respect for the land and its originality, using natural materials such as stone and brick. We have also chosen to give new life to disused materials and furniture.

At Agriturismo Parco del Re the cuisine is a hymn to seasonality and nature, a tale of the land, a concentrate of taste and health. Organic products from the farm’s own farm and other trusted local partners are used. The menu combines traditional Emilian dishes with vegetarian and vegan dishes, to be accompanied by a selection of wines and craft beers. Breakfast is always included in the stay, while aperitifs and dinners are by reservation. |
