A well-preserved medieval village with stone inns and picturesque alleys overlooking the spectacular Lake Garda.

Read all

Tenno is a dreamlike place suspended between the lake with its Mediterranean climate and the surrounding mountains, a less crowded and particular destination for those who enjoy a mild climate and tranquillity. We recommend a picnic at Lake Tenno to admire its turquoise waters surrounded by the green of the woods and going on a food and wine tour to discover local delicacies such as carne salada. The town is involved in the Ecomuseo della Judicaria “Dalle Dolomiti al Garda”, which they contribute to taking care of vineyards and chestnut groves, terraced fields with the most northern olive groves in Europe, and the park of arts and crafts in the village of Canale di Tenno.

We suggest hiking along the beautiful ancient Ponale road, one of the most beautiful walks in Europe, which from the town centre goes to Val di Ledro and offers breathtaking views of the lake. There is also an easy cycle and pedestrian path suitable for everyone which goes from Riva to Torbole following the valley. Close
