Standard Room Casabianca

Casabianca is a cosy 16th-century building in typical Tuscan stone, in which most of the rooms at Agriturismo Il Rigo are located. The rooms are different from each other but all rich in history, arranged between the ground floor and the first floor, in which the antiques and furnishings have been carefully chosen, with maximum respect for the original architectural identity. Casabianca also houses cosy common areas, the breakfast room, the restaurant and the reception.

Standard Room Poggio Bacoca

Poggio Bacoca is a small brick farmhouse, dating back to the 1920s, just 1 km from the main building, which can be reached in 2 minutes by car, or in less than ten minutes on foot, following a pretty path surrounded by nature. The farmhouse houses 2 common rooms and 7 bedrooms, all different and arranged between ground and first floor. Here too, the antique furnishings, wrought-iron beds and English fabrics have been chosen with the utmost care.

The cuisine at Agriturismo Il Rigo celebrates Tuscan gastronomic culture, starting from a philosophy based on sustainability and respect for the Earth. Only organic, local, seasonal products are used for the dishes, and the recipes are the original family recipes.

The ‘true Tuscan character’ is already present at breakfast, with homemade cakes and biscuits made with the farm’s organic flours, local cured meats and Pienza pecorino cheese. Dinner, served in the room converted from the old stables and under the pergola in summer, includes a four-course menu to be accompanied by great Tuscan wines.
